Forsyth Community Clinic provides no-cost, non-emergent healthcare to uninsured, low-income residents of Forsyth County, Georgia aged 18 – 65 years. The Forsyth Community Clinic Mission is to harness the heart, expertise and resources of the community to deliver free basic health and wellness services to uninsured adult Forsyth County residents in need because it is vital that a community ensures its most vulnerable residents receive access to healthcare as a bridge to wellness and increased quality of life. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) programs provide an innovative approach to a very urgent crisis. CASA programs screen, train and support volunteers to provide individualized advocacy for children in the juvenile court system through no fault of their own. The CASA volunteer provides an independent source of information for the judge who must decide their future. |
Mentor Me North Georgia, Inc. is a non profit organization dedicated to better serving the diverse needs of youth in the community, particularly children ages 6 17. Since 2002 we have been connecting mentors to children in need and improving their self image, life choices and opportunities. Children and youth can be matched with mentors either One on One in our REACH program, or teen Kick it Up clubs. |

The Humane Society of Forsyth County is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the welfare and well-being of the thousands of animals a year that come through our facility. With our mission providing shelter, care, adoptions and community education for homeless, stray and abandoned animals. The Humane Society of Forsyth County’s vision is to educate for the humane treatment of animals and advocate for the end of pet overpopulation. We are eager to deliver the loving attention the animals in our care desperately need, along with warmth, medical care, food and shelter. If possible, the care and rehabilitation are offered to the animals found as strays, seized by animal control or other circumstances that come to our shelter. |

Family Promise recognizes that poverty is a multifaceted problem that requires a multifaceted response. We respond by integrating educational outreach, smart programming, effective policies, and the hands on work of thousands of volunteers. We provide food, shelter, and support services for homeless families. We provide advice and advocacy for at risk families to prevent their becoming homeless. And we educate people about poverty and the means to combat it. |

Jesse’s House Inc., originally known as the Forsyth County Youth Shelter, was founded in 1998 as a result of a 1996 needs assessment survey for the north Georgia region conducted by Kennesaw State University. The survey identified that there was a need in Forsyth County for an emergency shelter for at risk girls, ages 7 17. We currently serve girls up to age 21 who are still in DFCS care. |

The mission of BADGE is to give back to employees of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office that serve and protect us. To restore confidence, hope and peace of mind through financial and other support when unforeseen or unwelcome circumstances enter their lives. Through our endowment, fundraising events, public relations, corporate sponsors, and board expertise, BADGE provides immediate and ongoing support to FCSO employees. |
